Yeah with just a thin layer of copperslip on the edge bits that Dave highlighted before, mine no longer squeak under braking. I didn't put any anywhere else.
i put it on the 2 bits of calliper that touches the pad/shim and on the piston rim too, but very sparingly, i thought others covered that above. 1 tube of copperease should last years and years (home use) unless you forget where you put it
