General ebay brake disks

Has anyone have any brake disks and pads from ebay. Theres a guy selling a set for 40 quid. Is it a good buy or are the just rubbish and will need replacing in a few weeks ?

A year and a half ago I purchased for my JTD 2 front discs and 2 sets of pads from a company on e-bay called "payless car parts" and the parts are still going strong and performing well. I can't seem to find them now on e-bay though?? I fitted them myself and it was quite a straight-forward job. The total cost inc postage was £66.

I bought a cheapy set of discs and pads on fleabay for £30. I haven't used the pads as I prefer the Ferodo DS2500 road legal high performance pads instead. The plain discs were great with the DS2500's.
