The advantage of a panel filter is that it's dead easy to fit and still looks standard.



Pete have you seen where the airbox is located on a stilo? :eek: :D


@ nowimboard if want more power get a BMC carbon dynamic airbox. It's more expensive but just as easy to fit.

AND 4 BHP from the K&N? Surely its all sound then! 4BHP doesn't seem very much at all! Or does it make all the differnece under acceleration?

Just went and found their website rather than be lazy and ask you lot all the ttime, It says on all the air boxs that they are used for track use and not raod use! So which one would i get?

Quite a few of the Stilo boys are running BMC CDAs - me for one (y)

That site is American, ignore it - mine is used on the road, and insurance notified ;)

More than £70 ;)

Mine was done as part of an Angel Tuning package - plus it was the big version, to fit on the 2.4...Also had a remap done to take full advantage of it (y)
 
This all sounds soo complex, All i want is the nippy ness back that the fiesta had! Although the Reving about 3000 does give me some nippyness (and an amazing engine sound) I would like a bit more power when i put my foot down!

Why not get a pipercross - stilosporting is doing a deal on here, isn't he?
 
It was about chips! Not mmm chips, I've just had 4 doughnuts!
Basically I was asking for opinons about chips and engine modifications, as I said i wanted that extra OOOOOPPMMMF out of the car at acceleration!

But the Pipercross is just an induction kit isn't it, and I was told the K&N is better (which I can get for slighty cheaper) And where you said it only makes 4BHP differnce, and doesn't seem to be worth the money? Am i just being REALLY retarded about this and a total pain? Sorry if I am, I'm not technically minded when it comes to cars!
