Why not PM Rich about it - I think he's still around. As far as I know he's the only person to have ever done the mod.

I will make a visit in the near future to service for an examination with the tester. But to see if it is possible ONE LONG FLASH for my car I do not want to go because for one examination cost is equivalent to 27 pounds.
It is preferable to have more things to do with the examiner because anything else is included in the same money.

Of curiosity, how much will it cost you a test examiner in the UK?

£40 at most dealers

I can have Examiner connected for 1 hour for £35+VAT (which includes driving around with it connected if you wish)

However that price is also the minimum charge so it makes a lot of sense, as you say, to have many things done at the same time whilst it's connected
