This is more of an update of an old feature rather than anything else, but there is now an even easier way to insert gallery images into your posts.
Simply use the
icon which is now in the toolbar for both new threads and quick replies to see an all new popup which lists everything you have ever uploaded 
You can now choose to insert the thumbnail, medium sized or large in a range of formats (direct, linked, gallery linked) - with your preference being kept for future use
