I'm only getting about .6 bar at the moment, seems a bit miniscule hehehe. That and I want more of th guage to be used :D :D

What's the easiest way to bump the boost up slightly, .8-.9 bar. Also, do I gotta do any work to be able to do this safely?

Either mk1 or mk2 Uno turbo will run perfectly fine at 1.0 bar boost with the standard engine and turbo. With other mods, it may run lean but it should be ok as long as you have the stock turbo. Mk2 turbocharger will not last as well at higher boost as the mk1 unit. More boost will wear out any turbo faster.

Running more boost will generate more heat so will crack the manifold faster. But cracked manifolds on standard cars are common enough anyway.

I was thinking a boost tap or bleed valve as Dunc called it - gives me the ability to go fast when I want but still turn it right down for reliability.

Just mainly wanted to make sure it wouldn't need any other mods to do so.
