Bloody admin charges, will be changing my car soon so I dread to think what they will want to charge me to change my policy

I was surprised how little difference the vast car upgrade made to my policy: as I say, only £18.14 was actually to do with the car itself!!

Much of the price of insurance is your liability towards other people. Whether you hit them in a car worth £2000 or one worth £4000 makes very little difference to the total claim cost when people are getting £20k for whiplash and they are paying out £30k to replace the other person's BMW.
