General dust caps stuck on

hi everyone, went to check my tyres but the dustcaps are stuck on i even tried with plyers! but the whole valve just spins round and i'm worried i might cause some damage, any ideas? thanks!

these are probably the anti theft ones. Does it have a small hole in top? If so put some thing in there and turn it that way

Do they look like that with a hole on them, if so as the person said above there anti theft ones and you need a key, but i know sumone who lost there key and used a knurled nail if thats any help..

hi, thanks for the help sorted it, got 1 off by players and the other snapped the valve so i got a new one fitted for £2 odd, and they ere just cheapo poundland dust caps, had stuck on leaving a kind of limescale deposit on the valve

the dustcap i didnt change i kinda split the rubber around it, doesnt seem to be going down and i think its just a kinda of rubber cover, does anyone know if it is? thanks

yeah some cheap metal dustcaps weld themselves on they react with the metal of the valve and fuse together

I had cheap dustcaps on, they decided to attach themselves firmly to the valves. Ended up snapping the valves off. Now i just stick to good old plastic ones.
