I recently obtain a 2014 500L. The owner said it needed a clutch. I purchased a new Luk clutch and had a local transmission shop replaced. They assured me that they knew how to work on this car.
Now the car will move but it has two error codes.
P1D34-00 Trans gear position does learn. I have a Launch X431 and tried to clear it with no luck. I have run the relearn diagnostic part with no change. The car drove fine, I only put about 2 miles on it after the clutch swap.
Now Im getting another code P1D6B-00 Clutch 1 actuator position out of range. The car will skip the 1,3,5 gears when driving.
I'm not taking it back to the trans shop and I have a 500 L manual. I'm thinking that they did not adjust the control rod.
Is there something else for me to look at or do I have to remove the clutch assembly and check the control rod.
I really like this car, but I have read up on these transmissions and they apparently can be a bear to work on.
By the way I did not fully understand the complexity of the trans when I took ownership of the car. It's in great condition and only has 81K miles, everything works.

Hello,

FIATs like MultiEcuScan and appropriate adapters and not any generic code readers.
