Old thread has been lost for now although may be resurrected later. So as a fill in

Date = September 20th 2015
Venue = Camperdown park ice rink (back car park) DD2 3SQ
Time = 11:30 am

Format

Meet up and do the usual catch-up/chat about motors/wait for late arrivals. Head for a drive somewhere fun and picturesque to get photos of motors and also lunch too or I'll get grumpy. All suggestions are welcome if you have a better idea of things to do (but lunch essential or I'll get grumpy :D )

Attendees - apologies if I've missed you out. I'm working from memory and it's been impaired by wine consumption tonight

Definite

1) Katie (grande)
2) Martyn (147)
3) Mark (cinq)
4) Callum (grande)
5) Simon (mk1 punto)
6) Brian (Abarth 595?)
7)
8) ...

Maybe

1) Martin (classic panda)
2) ...

Some possible suggestions for driving routes. We've previously headed inland, out along the A85 and ended up at Loch Earn which was very nice and I'm happy to do that again if there's interest.

Another option is to head down the coast to St Andrews and get some pictures there. Maybe hit Craigtoun Park for old times sakes?

All suggestions welcome and we'll go where the majority wish to go

Multi choice weekend could be anywhere :conf: like the new layout btw :cool:

Loch earn is not far from where I stay lol so would prefer to go somewhere else

As you're almost local got any suggestions? We've headed north in the past from Dundee but that ended up in Pleasureland in Arbroath so perhaps not. I've never seen a more misnamed place in my life :laugh:

I'll see if I can find the photo of it later

I'd be happy with it but we do have some older cars joining us and they may not like it so much. Although it is handy for those coming from Glasgow...

Let's see what everyone else thinks

As mentioned before, Susan has her surprise baby shower at lunchtime so I'll only make it for a short while before I drop her off there. Plus my ancient punto probably wouldn't make it out of Dundee lol

Just a suggestion but could head to Knockhill, big racing event one there and one of the guys we know Marten, with the race spec Abarth will be competing.

How would everyone feel with me bringing the drone out and getting some nice footage from above? And anyone with a spare gopro would be much appreciated as need another sd card

I doubt anyone would be bothered and probably more than happy to get footage of their motors

I thought that was just a Paul Walker tribute thing but just looked and it's the Super Lap finale too. i have no problem in attending that if everyone else wants to go.

Btw, if your new Abarth has arrived we have a shiny new Abarth forum ready for pictures of it

Oh, and Stuart wants to do a track day too if you're interested thread here
