Hi. Problem with no.1 pot misfire. Changed the injectors over and proved no problem there (I think) since Engine stops immediately if pulling the connectors on 2,3 or 4.
Multiesescan shows intermittent fault on no.1. Can I test the injector connector back to the ECU plug to see if there is a dodgy wire ? If so, what terminal numbers within the plug? Hoping it's not an ECU problem but.....
Any help appreciated. Al

Saw this after replying to your ECU post.....
Engine ECU's rarely fail ......the wiring from it to the injector is much more likely .
Pulling wires off injectors is likely to cause an error that may well cause the engine ecu to stop the engine so not a good way to test or diagnose .
I think you need to get the engine connected to proper diagnostic kit .....you can test injectors and also see what the ECU is requesting and what is happening all without pulling wires , also a compression test and injector volumes etc without even lifting the bonnet ....this is the only way to know what is happening and diagnose and given the cost of any fuel injection related parts is cheaper than the "bung that on and see if it fixes it" approach .
