Hi everyone, I’m a Fiat Ducato newbie. Thanks in advance for your support. I’ve just bought a Ducato camper van conversion. While looking for spares I notice EBay (only cos it’s cheap) and other spares outlets ask which Multijet model with drop-down menus listing, for e.g “Fiat Ducato 2019 Diesel Van 160 Multijet 2.3 D”. It’s the 160 (that number ranges from 100 to 180) I can’t figure out, what does this number mean/relate to? My van is 2019 16V Multijet II according to the V5 doc but I can’t find any other section of the V5 Vehicle Details section with a number between 100 & 180 other than V.7: CO2 (g/km) which is 161 G/KM.

Hello,

Until 2018 the following engines were available with the EUR 5 / EUR 6 norm:

For the 2018 - 2020 models the following engines were available with the EUR6 c norm:

Then for the 2020 - 2021 models the following engines with the EUR6 d norm:

Since 2021 with the EUR6 d final:

The number in the model designation reffers to the maximum power in HP.

There's definitely power mentionned in the V5 document. However could be in kW. You have to convert it to HP (multiply by 1,36). The V5 doc should also mention the EUR norm.

Your motorhome being 2019, the chassis (or the base vehicle) might have been manufactured by Sevel in 2018.

Look on the VIN plate, which is usually mounted over the radiator. Heading "Motore" will be followed by engine type.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ve checked the V5 for power (in kw) which is 96. Multiplied by 1.36 I get 130.56 which might indicate it’s a 130 Multijet II, especially as the table (kindly provided) also has 96 in brackets, after the 130 figure under the max power heading. On the engine plate, next to ‘motore’ is ‘F1AGL411D’, a Google search on that has brought up both Fiat and Iveco as manufacturers. Getting somewhere now I feel.

Have to say the information you guys offered has definitely pointed me in the right direction for research as I was kinda struggling with where to start, so massive thanks for that. I’ve now discovered 2 parts dealers selling F1AGL411D engine blocks and both list the engine suitable for a 130 Multijet II.

a bit late to party but i can confirm the F1AGL411D is the 130 multijet 2 , twin egr motor.
have a read of
there are a few other guides related to the twin egr here
