Hello, has anyone re-mapped a 2007 & on Ducato ? I have 100bhp 2.2 Hdi
Is worth it, does it make any difference
Have contacted a local tuning garage and said about 30bhp more + 50 more torque.

Even if it is remapped to OE specifications you still have the problem of the flywheel - the 120 version has a dual mass flywheel to cope with the extra vibration. Then there is the fuel consumption. According to my Citroen handbook the 120bhp 2.2 engine uses about 10% more fuel than the 100bhp 2.2 engine. It even uses more fuel than the 160bhp Fiat engine. Thats when it is mapped by the original manufacturer in the factory. Any imperfection in the mapping done by someone else will make the fuel consumption even worse compared to the version you have now.

I have the 120bhp version and I would prefer the 100bhp version because I do not need the additional power, so would rather have a 10% reduction in fuel consumption, and avoid the expense of having to replace the dual mass flywheel when it wears out.
