General Ducato rear axle vertical movement

Greetings
I have a motorhome based on a Ducato 2.8JTD maxi (2006). I want to add a water tank under the floor in front of the spare wheel - that is, above the rear axle.
I can see that when at rest, the rear axle does not make contact with the cone bumpers. But how much vertical movement is possible? This will limit the depth of the water tank I can mount there!

Peter,
Have you tried loading the van up to its max load to see how much it drops? You could also try filling containers with water to add extra balast and see how close it gets to the van underbody.

To check how close you are getting to max you could also try visiting a weigh bridge.

When I tried that wth my van it was well short of the max weights allowed.
