Hi, I have a 2019 Ducato Roller Team motorhome which has recently been serviced. On the way home it went into Limp mode with a amber engine check light up. I took it to a garage and fault codes are: P0401 - 61 (EGR high pressure valve blocked closed - signal calculation failure). Also P0402 - 61 (Air tracking control system). I am not sure of my exact Ducato model but the VIN number is ZFA25000002J6552. Engine type: F1AGL411D and engine number 3389301. The van is ex UK rental but now in New Zealand and I am not sure whether it is euro 5 or 6. It is not Adblu, so must be a 130 that was produced before Adblu. Any clues as to the exact model would be helpful thanks in chasing the EGR problem. I know it has 2 EGR valves (high pressure and Low pressure). The garage also said there was excessive build up of soot at the DPF. Don’t know how they saw this as I am pretty sure they haven’t taken it apart. Any clues would be appreciated, thanks

We had this same problem and our garage mapped out the egr valve. However, we only knew of 1 valve at that point. Now (after 6 months) I’ll getting a nox fault code but I’m told this engine does not have a nox filter.
Any ideas?
Important question what year and model is it? 2017 to 2019 with no Adblu?

If you realy want to solve this problem (preffereably at minimum cost) you really need to get a working copy of multiescucan sorted then we can advise with what to measure analyze the data and then diagnose the problem.
In my crystal ball i see error code p2200-15 if so read https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/2018-ducato-nox-sensor-code-p2200-15.507882/

It s a euro6 twin egr model. you need to do a bit of reading
you are now in the right place. Do not allow the garage to convince you the HPEGR is kaput . You need to get a working copy of Multiecuscan soerted then i can guide you through the diagnosis. First a few questions is it a comfortmatic or manual gearbox, take a piece of kitchen roll and wipe the exhaust pipe, is it squeeky clean or sooty? The DpF can be electronicaly examined a number of ways, there are direct measurements of %age blocking and the Differential dpf pressure sensor can be used to assess DPF health all done from the OBD2 port.
you may benefit from reading a number of my guides
and this thread
please dont get too depressed.
