Thanks a lot @Communicator and @RalphM for your prompt response and research on parts. If it's the valve sticking, I was thinking about the following options:

1. Replacement: I found a catalogue of a producer, which seems to sell these kind of valves (pdf attached). Would you think replacing only this part would be sufficient? If, yes, is there professional technical skills required? How big is the risk I would create additional damage?

2. Repair/Maintenance: Is there a chance to repair the valve so it won't stick/ get clogged? If, yes, is there professional technical skills required? How big is the risk I would create additional damage?

3. Elimination: Would you think eliminating
the valve completely from the diesel line giving up on it's functionality? If, yes, is there professional technical skills required? How big is the risk I would create additional damage? Is there any important functions lost other then the immobiliser?

Have a nice Sunday evening. Kind regards

Once you start removing fuel pipes on a Diesel you could end up with
air in the system how difficult this will be to remove and get it running
again verys from it starts right back up to days of frustration, a small local
garage would likely do it at not to much expense and save having a
non runner on your hands.

Dear @Communicator, dear @RalphM, I wanted to get back with the resolution of our problem. I had our workshop look at the issue this spring when starting this years season. They also came to the conclusion, that the behaviour must be caused by the immobiliser. They dismantled it. Since then, for 4 months the problem has not appeared again, so I assume it was the root cause.

Thanks a lot again for supporting me and dedicating your time and expertise to the forum. It was highly appreciated!
Take care and all the best to you!
