General Ducato Thrust Bearing ?

Hello
Have got a Fiat Ducato, when in neutral i can hear a not very loud grating noise from the clutch housing, when i depress the clutch pedal it goes away, could it be the Thrust bearing.

Ive got a 2001 ducato,, the thrust bearing makes quite a loud noise intermittently...
Sometimes just starting to make the noise while I'm at traffic lights etc.
Same as yours , stops when pedal depressed....release the pedal and its not doing it..

Mine makes a racket like a small concrete mixer in neutral but as some have pointed out, it's the gearbox as the noise only disappears when clutch fully depressed.

No functional problems to report.

Yes, same as mine, gearbox functions fine...was replaced three years ago by the previous owner..
Mine sounds like a washing machine with the bearing gone at times...dry sound..
