Hello!
I have a car where the plug of the rail pressure sensor is missing and need to know how to connect the cables to the sensor.
The pressure sensor has the following contacts:
1
2
3

The cables have the following colors:
black
white/blue
white/green

Thanks

I have spent some considerable time checking on eLearn relating to the x244 in the hope that it may be similar, but to no avail. It does not even show the sensor on the engine management diagrams.

Perhaps the German language version of the workshop manual available in the downloads may have the appropriate diagram?

Yes, the sensor appears on the German wiring diagram of the 244, but the cable colors of my 230 are different.

Interesting. For the x244 2.8jtd the colours extracted from connector detailks are L, C, and M which translates to light blue, orange, and brown in the same sequence. My German is weak, but is this not the same?

To confuse things even further eLearn mentions a 4 stage pressure switch (K010) several times, but fails to indicate either location or function. Also not on engine management diagram. Wire colors are AB (light blue/white), BV (white/green). and BN (white/black). Very similar to you photo.

It would be nice to know where the 4 stage pressure switch is fitted, and what it does.

K010 is part of the A/C system. The fuel rail pressure switch is K083.
I will asume that the ecu pinout did not change between the models and connect the wires accordingly.
1 = 92
2 = 91
3 = 90

Thanks for your help

Thanks for the info on the pressure switch. My vehicle does not have aircon, hence my difficulty in recalling the function of the 4 stage pressure switch. I can now see K010 quite clearly on my library copy of the eLearn aircon diagram E6021. Next job is to add the pressure sensor to my library copy of the engine management diagram.
