Technical ducato 2015 bluetooth dead

So a great van with one common fault.
after reading everything i can find on the ducato bluetooth system i give up.
checked all the fuses but the thing is dead,what im after is a bit of info on how the system works.
Is there some sort of trick box under the dash or does the radio do it all.
radio works fine by the way,in the glove box is a usb connector, it does nothing,is it supposed to light up.
thats why i was thinking blown fuse.
And yes the mileage does flash,also in the battery box under the floor is a set of wires with a black connector hanging around.
would this have anything to do with some sort of missing module,as the dash has a few missing screws.
looks like someone has been fishing around under there.
last van was a mk6 transit no trouble for 6 years,i do like the drive on the ducato and the room is great,but the electrics are a bit crazy.

Hi not sure what radio in yours vp1 or vp2? More info has it touch screen? sat nav?

Hi ita a delphi f250 fl.
no touch screen or sat nav, usb connector in glovebox and some sort of connector on the top of dash that i think a tom tom fits in to.
should i get the hammer out.

Hi pull the radio out is there a big black box that slots under radio if it’s missing can u see a blue connector plug in hole ?

I Have the same thing on my 2015 camper Ducato so i waiting for any response Fiat do have there own version of Bluetooth so i am watching this space hoping someone can yelp you and me. cheers
