General Dualogic

Can anyone tell me if the dualogic on the qubo is 5 or 6 speed??

Thats a shame, I suspect, though in truth I'm not 100% sure on this one, that the extra gear is in the top range, hence improving the economy. Its quite normal to have my on-board computer showing a instant MPG of 99.9, though that is totally unachievable, and that figure soon drops with a little more accelerator.
On the plus side........its one less thing to go wrong or wear out........haha

I bought a Qubo 75 hp Diesel Mylife Dualogic in September this year and it's a 5 speed. I was under the impression from various reviews on the net that it would be a 6 speed. Looking through the Fiat sales literature, they do not state anywhere that it is 6 speed, but there again they do not state that it's 5 speed either. Altogether more than a little disappointing, especially seeing as the 6 speed version is reported to have a higher top gear giving better economy. Mine is only managing 47 mpg average according to the computer. In 1986 I bought an Escort 1.6 diesel estate which easily managed 60 mpg. I guess that's progress?

That when the car is running on a fuel shut of cycle, the more you can do what (while in gear) the better your MPG will be

In 1986 engines were made to euro 2/3 spec, and not euro 5 with DPF's and EGR's. Resulting in great MPG but awful air quality in citys etc - also not living in a city I know which I prefer :devil:

I just got my brand new fiat qubo 1.3 mjet 16v mylife dual logic 2 days ago and was told when i orded it would have 6 speed dual logic went back to fiat they said its 5 speed so all new ones may now be 5 speed like mine is .. very happy with my qubo so far .. on my order what was wrong was orded tints came with no tints got refund on that .. also was told ill get 6 speed dualogic got 5 speed .. again still happy with my qubo so far
