Technical Dualogic no gears! Help!!

Hi. My 500L is stuck in neutral. 3 times now after driving a distance when trying to start again it will not select any gears. If I rev it up it goes into a gears with a jolt and stalls. Been in fiat specialist garage. 1st topped up trans oil and seemed to do the trick. But not any more. Done 70k. They think maybe clutch. That's expensive and I'm not convinced it's the cause. Any ideas please. Thanks Derek.

I have had a similar issue and turns out all it needed was a top up of specialist hydraulic fluid in the actuator top up bottle and problem solved.
