Hi! I have a 2010 Bravo with Dualogic auto gearbox that suddenly stopped engaging. The car won't start and dispays "gear unavailable" when i try to place in "Neutral". I checked the F16 fuse in the engine compartment and it's ok. The Dualogic manual says there is a F84 fuse in the boot, on the left side under the upholstery but i opened it and there isn't any such fuse box there.

Before i take it to a service, i need to make sure all gearbox fuses are ok. Any idea where fuse F84 is?

This is a quote from the Dualogic manual for the Bravo:

"Dualogic gearbox control unit F84 10A
Power supply (+ ignition) for Dualogic gearbox control unit F16 7.5A

Taken from here: http://storage.fiatforum.bg/Books/Bravo_New/Dualogic_NewBravo.pdf

I checked the gearbox fluid level and the reservoir is full.

Okay, i found the problem and fixed it but am pissed off at Fiat. First off, all the fuse diagrams for cars with Dualogic auto gearbox are wrong. The Dualogic manual says there is a Fuse panel in the boot but there exists no such fuse panel there. Second, there are fuses in the engine compartment box by the car battery which are not indicated in the owner's manual and neither are they indicated in the downloadable Dualogic manuals for this car. There is a 30A very big, green fuse in the engine compartment fuse box(marked number '4' just beside the fuse) dedicated to the operation of the moving arm of the gearbox. When this fuse blows, the car becomes inoperative and the gearbox remains engaged and won't disengage to Neutral(you can't even tow this car, you must lift it up and take it to a service and risk a 1000 euro bill for something that costs 20 cents). I replaced the blown fuse, reset the DTC's and now have a perfectly driving car.

Hope this closed case helps someone who is stranded like i was for 3 days.
