Drum Sub Enclosure

Was looking at a sub and an old drum kit in my spare room and then bam!! Light bulb! How hard can it be to make a high tom into a sub box?? turns out very easy as the drum had a 12inch skin. whipped that off, fed some wire through and replaced skin with sub. DONE! Just need to get it in the car and see how it sounds.

It may have a very strange acoustic signiature. Anything is worth a go though. I would be interested to have a listen.

It actually gives an authentic bass drum sound (handy as i only listen to rock) until a certain point then the skin at the bottom starts flapping but that's only at stupid levels. To be completely honest I'm plesently surprised by it.
