driving test

Obviously you wasnt at the speed limit as you mustve been going very slow at some point

they ask you what the current speed limit is, and how you know/give reasoning..

so 30mph, built up area, no reminders.
40mph semi built up area but reminders in place, and still street lights etc..
50mph = restrited national because of traffic badspots/ bad surface quality, the odd dodgy corner/junctions on corners etc.

just by driving at random speeds doesn't proove you know what the limit is:nutter:

If theres a miniscual fault on your test then your bound to pick up random ticks...modern society, its to perfect.

To be safe travel up to the speed limit or 5mph below, that way their know you know what the limit is...sounds like thats what happened thought you were in a 30 when was a 40 or similar.

its not random
eg you move through a 30 zone going @ 28mph which becomes a 40 zone.
if you stay at 28mph the examiner may assume you didnt know/see the change.
however increase your speed above 30mph demonstrates you saw the new limit and compensated.
would you say it was random speeds when you slow down from a 40 to a 30?
