Ot most likely is. You will need a car park and if u fully lock your wheel and hear that clacking noise then that's a define sign. If you type in on YouTube signs of a bad cv then it will provide you with some more tests. But only other way is to jack up car and look under ithi guys i have a 2009 fiat bravo 1.6tdi semi auto
when i drive its making like a clicking noise i was told its the driveshaft but im not 110% sure??

To be honest the only sure fire this will be if you see the rubber boots torn and leaking grease there are two behind the wheel and attached to gear box. If there is excessive play that is a pretty good sign so if u pull it left and right and it moves in and out quite abit that's a sign. So really your looking at thesethanks for the reply mate, yes ive had a look on youtube and it mentions about the vibration but my car doesn't have it, i dont know too much about cars, if i get under it how will i know if its buggerd?
thanks in advance
Also a visual inspection if it is beat to he'll and dented excessively then that is not correct either. What makes you think it's not ur CV what else are you potentially thinking? To be honest the only sure fire this will be if you see the rubber boots torn and leaking grease there are two behind the wheel and attached to gear box. Clacking noise when turning
Damaged rubber boots / leaking grease
Excessive play in and out.
The only next sure fort thing to do is take out cv and move the joints by hand but that's obviously not on the table lol
Going straight is a little different but 8t may still be that problem. But with straight what would really make it easy to jack it up and get under car and have someone spin your wheels and try locate the noise.haven't tried left or right locking yet, only accelerating and it makes the noise
