Any ideas as to why my drivers side window when open and I pull up the switch to close it has started to then carry on down fully and go up a bit back down and then up fully. Is this a dealer fix along with the many other problems, the rear window washer jet has taken to dribbling onto the rear window when I wash the front window. And my main beam lights continue to dim/flicker when I’m driving(very noticeable on unlit roads).

Hi.
The lights sound like power supply..

Windows.. some have mode patterns..

Yours does sound as if it is following a routine.

Washer jet.. probably a shared pump for front and rear.. so somewhere it is being controlled jointly.. wether from the wiper stalk.. or the wiring.

Sorry cannot offer more. Does it have any warranty??

No idea about the headlights, but the window going up and down in a pattern sounds like it just needs some sort of reset. I have heard of it before but not experienced it on any of my cars.

The dribbling washers seems a fairly common fault - i've experienced it on my 2016 Alfa Giulietta and my Parents had the same issue on a 2012 Fiat 500, except in both our cases the front washers dribbled when using the rear one, not the other way round

The 500 was rectified by the dealer fitting a new washer pump, but on the Giulietta, two dealerships were insistent it was 'characteristic of the car' and didn't fix the fault despite me telling them that a new washer pump solved it on the 500 and on someone elses Giulietta that I know :bang: That amongst other things led me to get rid of the car after 18 months. Thankfully the Tipo I have now doesn't do it. (y)

If the cars under warranty, suggest the Fiat dealer replace the washer pump and cross your fingers that they agree!

Yes it’s still under warranty, wondered more if it was a simple reset on the window with button pressing, I will take it in, thanks for the reply

Could be a new or loss of anti-pinch profiling data.

You could try to fully cycle the windows.

To do this:

1) Press and HOLD the button to fully lower the window till it stops
2) Lift and HOLD the button to fully raise the window till it stops
3) Do this for all windows

Now see what happens for normal window operation.
