first of all: it's better to change with a brand new one, for safety, second of all: you need to change also the bearing because it breaks when you pull out the hub. As for the tools go you need a bearing press and lots of nerves, cause the bearing comes of pretty hard. I had the hub and the bearing changed 2 times this year do to bad work of a "mechanic" so i'll advise you to make the change at a good mechanic, if you know one, but you could do it if you are careful and patient. Hope this helps.
And if you want to do it here goes the rough process: take the wheel of, prise off the brake caliper (two screws behind it), take off the brake disc (2 screws if i'm not mistaking), after that remove the 2 screws from the shock absorber, remove the steering pivot, remove the pivot from the torsion bar and unscrew the pivot from the wishbone, take the assembly out and on a work bench remove the hub (with brute force :)) and the bearing from the spindle. Easy job. ;)
