does an aibarg ECU reset need to be done at a stealers or is there a DIY way?

Am I reading this right. To remove the airbag unit. The steering wheel has to be pierced. My car goes in next saturday to have the horn fixed as the switch is broken. Are they going to have to fit a new steering wheel??

I was reading this post and i was wondering if anyone knows something new
about airbag removal?

Im going to buy second hand leather steering wheel without airbag and i dont know if i can put in my original airbag?

I just dont want to messup anything or buy a useless steering wheel:bang:
