Technical Drivers door wont stay closed

Can anybody help ? i opened my drivers door on my 07 1900 3 door sporting from the inside to night and it made a funny noise and now it wont stay closed! i cant lock the door so t have had to put a rope from the door handle to the steering wheel to keep it shut and lock the passenger door with the key ! has anybody had the same problem ? :bang:

Well fixed it myself striped lock down and it just needed oil in it as the grease had dried our. saved £100 as fiat wanted that for a new lock

That's £100 fitted not just for the lock.

Fault will reoccur.
