Does anyone know how to remove the driver side(Steering wheel) airbag? No screws are visible at the back of the steering wheel only 2 hole at the side. I need to remove to replace the indicator stalk.

The thread from a few days ago had a breakdown picture of the Panda steering wheel minus airbag. Maybe not exactly what you need but might give you a clue.

Thread name starts with "Replacement fingertip audio"...

Worth a try,
M

I searched the web and found out some instructions from a fiat 500. But I guess the panda is different.
Any ideas???

Yes I found the 2 hole on each side. Is it possible to upload a picture on this thread?

Any chance of posting a guide to replacing the indicator stalk, as a few people have reported a fault with headlights turning on when not selected ? This may be an issue for many owners in the future.
If you don't have photos, then it would be useful even to have just a description of what had to be removed, how to take them off, cost of new indicator stalk, any problems encountered, etc.

Headlights fixed too. Most probable it appears that the fault arises with the headlight turning knob switch. I will prepare a guide for those who experience the same prob. I have pictures too

That would be excellent, thanks. I want to change my wheel for a leather-covered one and having seen the schematic from the previous thread, it appears that the steering wheel controls are separate and can therefore remain with the car, not the wheel. That should prevent the need for any reprogramming, so I should be able to do it myself....

.... once I know how to remove the airbag and steerin plus of course buying the appropriate new leather wheel in the first place!

if you have a steering wheel like this you can simple swap it out for a "Lounge" leather version, buttons and air-bag can be swapped easily.

That's the same as my 'poverty spec' wheel for sure! I will enquirer from a dealer as to the cost of a new wheel I think.
There are 3 types of steering wheel for the panda:

1) The plastic type without buttons.
2) The Plastic type with buttons.
3) The leather version with buttons.

Version 2 and 3 with buttons are interchangeable with each other. ;)

Mr Negative piping up here but I guarantee you could get your existing wheel trimmed in Leather for less than what Fiat will charge you for a new wheel .... Plus The lounge wheel is only half done! lol

And slightly off topic ( but still kind of on it) Regarding the steering wheel , do you think stereo steering wheel control adaptors designed for 500/punto/doblo would also work on the panda wheel??? Its the phone buttons I want to make certain work.
