Technical Dreaded cold start :(

From what i remember from one of the meets it was still on the original battery

For anyone worried about cold starts etc...BUY A NEW BATTERY.

I have put this off and off but this week I went for it and has solved the issue completely.

Went for a 530 amp bosch battery. The standard is around 300 amp.

D4nny8oy If im honest, i dont even know. I took the car in with a rattling air bracket and they said it needed a new ECU, can't remember at all sorry mate.

The sensor I changed is certainly the map sensor and was replaced 3 times just to be sure.

my battery: varta 12v 40AH 300A

Any ideas?

slightly off topic but do you know what the part number was for your MAP sensor?

0 261 230 174 or 0 261 230 030?

haha yeah I looked at the first post yesterday, didnt realise it was that long ago!

instead iv been buying seat splitters etc etc...then I prioritised

Did you ever try charging the battery
After the battery test chap told you?

Yep it wouldnt charge due to being 'full'
