Technical Double din Satnav

I've got one of these........................

and I have one of these housings

and I'd like to buy and fit a cheap Satnav/Radio, like one of these....

Has anyone done this ?, and if so did it all work afterwards etc etc, or am I just wasting my time and wonga ?
