I believe the DOT 4 brake fluid spec for a Ducato is 155 degrees C wet boiling point. Is it ok to use DOT 4 with a higher boiling point than this? I’m presuming that would actually be safer but wanted to check first. Thanks

Not sure what this figure is, but brakes get an awful lot hotter than that if used hard with a load on. My understanding is DOT4 is the current spec for most brakes and I would expect if to withstand boiling for a lot higher temperature. SOmeone else will be along soon to confirm and add some tech to this soon I am sure.

Panda and disc's may do but in normal use the brake fluid should be nowhere near these temps
