After a week of deep cleaning my newly bought Seicento S today I wanted to tackle first mechanical job.... My clunking drivers door.
Looked up YouTube etc for visuals on same.
General consensus was either door pin or door latch restrictor.
Tapped out door pin. 👍
Ordered a box of mixed size roll pins from local hardware but none seem to fit the top or bottom holes on the car body side.
QUESTION 1
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THESE ARE CALLED, WHAT SIZE DO I NEED AND WHERE CAN I GET THESE Online?

Unfortunately The Mrs arrived home from shopping and I stupidly pushed in my door without the locking pin and the latch extender went right back inside the inner of the door.
So I decided to remove the latch itself from the inside of door to see if there was anything obviously wrong on same. I unscrewed the armrest 3 x T30 screws and a hidden clip. Couldn't figure out how to remove window handle but gather per another YouTube video that there is some kind of pin between winder and inner black plastic cover that needs to be removed so that you can wiggle the handle off. Removed door cover and carefully pulled back the glued insulation stuff. Removed the outer screws and held on to the restrictor for dear life so it did not fall inside the door. Got it out but can't seem to get it to extend back out so that when reattached inside the door it can reach where the PIN goes through it.
QUESTION 2
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET IT TO EXTEND?
I've ordered a new one on Autodoc but still curious how to extend it.
Sorry for the length of this and thanks in advance for any suggestions re Door Pin and how to Re Extend the restrictor.

Can you actually see wear on the old roll pins, the bit the pins swivel in can be worn also.
By the way as a "cheat"you could refit the old pins in a different position so wear doesn't match up, at least until correct parts arrive.:)
Re the door check strap/spring, if you spread the two ears slightly with a lever it can make it easier to lever it back out without stripping the door as it takes the load off the roller.
RE door handles some have the pin you mention and if you ease a wide flat screwdriver between handle and surround you should be able to see the pin to push out, other use a spring clip in same area and you can hook these out in a similar way. If it is the clip type you fit it to the winder handle before refitting to car, just give it a bump to push it into it's groove. If you look at mechanism there is a slight taper to help that.
Note the order they come off as there is a spring in there as well to keep the plastic cup etc. in place.
Another point, it is usually a good idea with window right up closed, to put the handle hanging down, as if window guides are worn/loose the extra weight has a tendency to allow the windows to drop open a bit making it easier for thieves.

@bugsymike
Thanks for coming back.
I'll try levering the "ears" 😂 to see if I can get any move on it. Got the window handle off by popping the pin as you suggested. Any idea where to get the hinge pins and what size to ask for. Thought it weird that a box of mixed sized pins had none that fitted.

Hi Ben, that's brilliant thanks so much for the info on door hinge pins and the product numbers. Have tracked down 46542867 on ebay from Italy and ordered same. Really appreciate your help on this I would never have found them otherwise. Cheers.

Re the door check strap spring I was thinking of the other type, so if you can't grip it with mole grips on the bar and then lever it, you may have to carry on and strip it right out to work on it in a vice or similar to encourage it to go where you need it to be.
A little oil may help.:)
