General door seals

Hi all, can anyone recommend somewhere were i can get new door seals for a 1993 fiat tipo 5dr. have searched the internet & will keep searching but if anyone has any info then i thank you in advance

I can imagine there will be an element of improvisation required

You mean the 'soft rubber tube'
That clips around the pressed steel of the door aperture?

Other later FIAT ones might adapt easily

I seem to recalll there was a plastic strip at roof level..

yes the rubber that goes around the opening, not the actual door itself

Frost Restorations do generic seals — just pick the best profile. That might be easier, as I suspect it will be hard to find originals now. I used one for a 127 hatchback - it was hard to fit, but 10 years later it’s still perfect. Bought by the metre, it’s not expensive.

You may still be able to find one from a Brava / Bravo front or rear, I'll check on mine for sizes / compatibility.
