Thanks Ben. Hope that's cleared things up with you Donz?

Must get broadband one day - damn this 33.6k dial-up connection I've got. ;) It's like an aged tortoise crawling through quick-drying cement. No offence to all you tortoises out there :D No tortoises were harmed, injured, or even insulted or generally upset by this message. There's only one tortoise I know, and he didn't complain :)

no m8 i know you weren't complainin - i used to be on a 33.6 and tbh my 1meg broadband isn't gonna struggle in the slightest - - however it isn't me actually hosting the pics - and everytime one of us accesses them my best mate has to upload them to us

so for that reason alone i think i may reduce it to one - but i may update it regularly as i do more things to the car - like i have done my back bmper now too - not much just some mesh - but i could remove all those ones and show i nice rear shot - and this way you would all get to see yoda!!

oh and steve i happen to run a PC hardware business - why you stuck on a 33.6?

you realise that a 56k will cost you under £15?

If you shrunk the pics down a bit, say 1/4 size, they'd load a bit quicker.

Why am I on a 33.6 connection [?]

Er, not sure actually, but I'm hoping to move to ntl broadband soon. As my wife's laptop has 56k (which I don't use - I detest laptops) I've never thought of upgrading mine. That's not really an answer is it [?]

Okay you guys. I'll see what PC World has to offer. Unfortunately they are almost next door to the Maplin Electronics Superstore and God help me if I enter that place :)

Considering it was supposed to be on three business day delivery I was surprised but delighted to see that it arrived today (Saturday) :) - asking for Saturday delivery would have cost me an extra £20. I'm gonna check my bank statement ...

It worked straight out of the box! So Microshaft have finally got Plug and Pray working for good ol' Windoze 2000 Pro anyway!

So I'm on 56k dial-up now. And no, I can't think why I didn't do this earlier ...

A little, but I'm not going any faster than 52k yet. It's ntlworld's string and tin can technology that's causing the problem I fink ...
