Also i imagine the demand will be highest now so whilst it will go up 2p a litre :mad: i'm hoping it'll drop soon after. The price at the moment is ridiculous, but then i wouldn't be surprised as with everything that happens, price goes up quicker than it goes down. (n)

Last time prices were this high oil was $150-$200 a barrel. Currently last time I checked it was around $90 a barrel so why are the prices continuing to be high?

At a guess It's the oil crisis and the USA putting pressure on BP to set aside ridiculous amount of money for an onslaught of bogus law suits from every man and his dog.

This morning I noticed diseasel was 129.
Tesco's cheapest veg oil was over £1 / litre - so still worth it if you can run on neat oil.
At best my summer blend uses 10 litres so that would be a potential saving of £3 per fill but as I use waste oil then I'm saving nearly £13 every fill.

Av filled the tanks in both cars as they were empty, that empty the cinq ran out a car length away from the pump! fired back up long enough to move forward and switch off.

Petrol in Carlisle was 121.9p and filling up the BM X3 in Ashington was 125.9p for diesel. Both Shell garages so get cashback and reward points but only go a little way to the £115 it cost.

The scaremongering on the news the other night reckoned the fuel price would go up another 5p per litre within the next week and expected £1.50 per litre by end of January.
