...is a little bit shocking but if you look closer you can see an outer sill repair but the inner sill and floor has split along the seam.

The D 1001 , around 14 pm , the Renault Scenic with a private ambulance company Abbeville circulating in the direction towards Abbeville Nouvion , collided with a Fiat Panda that preceded it . Fiat was about to turn left to get to and Buhant . Under the force of the impact the Fiat was thrown near the path to the automotive repairer.

That's why whenever I do a sill repair I peel back all the layers like an onion and work my way back out.

Even in my dodgy French reading abilities, can see that it says the driver of the panda was unharmed and the driver of the scenic had to go to hospital.....

I'm not sure that is a bad advert for the welds on this car, however the sills look generally rusty but looking at the big pictures on the website I really can't see anything that suggests they've been welded or repaired

Agreed. Old Panda's (especially 4x4s look fun) but they don't look like they'd stand up to much in a crash.

plenty of others in that class,

I know somebody who misjusdged a junction - pulling out too early..
and getting T-Boned in a '92 panda . it was then @4 feet wide in the passenger cabin..COZY broke the 5 speed gearbox casing too:bang:
