Most Easterly Pandas Jon are you definitely going to this & do you want me to try to bring your seats?

I was going to take the Coupe for a run after the Winter, but will a full set of Panda seats go into it??!!? I suspect they will

I could always dig the Super out of storage - I went across to see it today & it started first turn of the key (after about 20 secs of course) - quite impressed as it's been there since last April!

I taxed a shoal of cars on Sunday, when I realised the wrong price was coming up! Saved me £20 by doing the 4 I intended to put back on the road in April  This assumes they aren't going to chase us for the extra.....

fully understand, :)
have you got a HG diagnosis..??

charlie

Not just yet my compression tester is bust so just awaiting a new one but I'm almost certain it is - every time I start it up it just pressurises the water system. When I take the water cap off I can smell oil/petrol. I just can't believe it still runs on its two cylininders! :D

If possible Gavin, got your cash also :D

Do you think it'll all fit in the back of a 750L  :p

I might have to fold the rear seat down to get the seats in lol.

Definitely ok in a Panda. (y)

I think they'll go in the Coupe - I know people won't believe it! By flattening the front Panda seats they will lay across the back Coupe seat & the rest will go in the boot. I don't want to mark the leather though (I hate anything leaving indentations on the leather seats!!), so I might trade speed and comfort for a Panda/Uno shaped hatchback :tempt:

P.S. The Uno passed its mot today  it's really good underneath, though the back box is going west, and the gearbox is still the same as when you drove it. :(

If its easier I don't need the entire set complete in one go, if you want to bring some in the coupe this time, and the rest to another meet if storage your ending isn't at a premium  :)

I'd rather get it to you before the seats get eaten I think! Thanks but the front seats are most trouble and they are the ones it might be more sensible to use a hatchback for. The rear seats take up little room as they are so light.

I'll need to gather it all together - fronts are in the garage next to the 127, rears & door cards are balanced out of the way of the cats in my hallway, the poles are in the conservatory, and the dash roll is at the back of the garage on the freezer. Place your bets on how many pieces I'll forget!! :D

No worries. I've just been informed by mum that she's coming also, dropping her off at a friends locally while dad and I are at the meet and picking her up after. Means I'll be 3 up on the return with it all, but I'll leave the current front passenger seat at home, make mum and dad sit in the back on the way (someone will get a lot of leg room) and then fit remaining front seat in the back upside down and the rest dotted about. Like you say the rear seat will roll away fairly easily.

Wasn't there someone else from your neck of the woods? If so, any spare seats/passengers could maybe go there?

If you can't fit it all in, we'll sort something out. (y)

Will it look like that on Sunday? :D

Probably not. But at least it will be easier to clean, next time...!

Look at the state of your sponge!

That was just the one I used to clean the crud off the sunroof. I used a wash-mitt for everywhere else.... Mind you: my 'two-bucket method' ended up being nine or ten buckets, there was that much muck on the poor thing.... :(

It looks much nicerer in burgundy! (y)

Forecast is rubbish for Sunday! (n) My clean Panda may not come out to play - the Uno which was clean yesterday & now looks like it's been on the Mongol rally (by sitting on the drive) may be favourite. I've given up on the Coupe (full set of Panda seats do fit in it by the way! ), which looks like it's been buried for a couple of years & is too big to clean for someone lazy......

We don't actually believe that homeward has cleaned the car today. It's clearly taken in Summer & the tax disc says 2004......
