hi guys, im doing my clutch this weekend, and just need some advice as to what steps to take to make sre it all goes smoothly? such as drain fluids, disconnect this/that??

any help would be great cheers!

Its a 1.4 Chassis, 1.6 Engine and 2.0ltr Brakes and half a Marea :)

you have the 1600 engine right mate?

Drain all the gearbox oil off, the driveshafts are lubricated by that so can make a mess far too easily!

disconnect everything off the box, remove, take old clutch off, put new clutch on (dont do the bolts that hold it on up too tight) and then line it up with the drive slpine (I usually use a big bolt and do it by eye, if the bolts not thick enough wrap it in gaffa tape to bulk it out) then refit everything and refil with oil

ill bare all this in mind when doing it..i just wanna make everything goes right, dont wanna go and mess it up, alot of money to fix lol
