A meet of some sort over the summer?

Could be a weekend thing or just a day?? I know the get togethers in 2009 (was it?) were successful but last year it seemed like there wasn't enough interest?

So anyone got any ideas?

dont scrap it,just keep it alongside the Panda
As for meets,you are better to tag onto existing meets or open it up to other models
both these purposes are better served in the events section and you can gauge interest/numbers

You are right about the meets, I will be going to the bigger meets anyway, just thought it would be good to get a big group of Pandas together. Only posted in here as I know quite a few Panda owners dont venture into the other sections too much.

A Panda exclusive meet would be great! As to location, that would need to be a group decision and depends on where people are at. But a good idea nontheless.

I was perhaps thinking the Peak District, its central for everyone to get to and there are plenty of excellent roads and photo opportunities. We could do a drive and camping for those who wanted to?

Sounds like a great plan to me! Not been to the peak district before, and did NO camping last year, which is embarrassing as my partner and I bought a new tent and managed it loads of times last year... Camping that is !

This will be my Pandas first communal outing!

I could be up for it too. Went to the one in '09 and it was great. Peak District suits me just fine as it's on the doorstep! Like most people I suppose, it depends on the date.

I can do most weekends in June/July except the first weekend in June and the 2/3 July. Otherwise I can book time off work if enough notice given.

The thing is it's all been left to late for something like camping for this year. It took a good 6/7 months of planning in 2009.

It's a good 300/400 miles for me to come, so my partner and I would be camping anyway!
