I'm about to buy a aftermarket turbine housing while I might have a little crack in mine (Grande Punto 1.4 T-jet). I did found this one: http://turbostore.eu/turbine-housing/853-turbine-housing-r-0065.html
They also sell the compressor housing for the VL36 turbo: http://turbostore.eu/compressor-cover/8466-compressor-cover-r-1047.html
I was wondering to combine both and buy a Melett VL36 turbo CHRA do that I've basically have a VL36 turbo. Except for the wastegate maybe?
But I don't know if those housings are okay? I do trust the Melett CHRA for sure but couldn't find anything about the housing.
My other bet is 55k old VL36 turbo from a 595 abarth but has a very little crack at the wastegate. Could buy that one for €150 including shipping and combine that with an aftermarket turbine housing for €100 so that for about €250 I have a great turbo.
