What are the symptoms of a dodgy lambda sensor?? and how much is a new one gonna set me back?? MOT IN JUNE!!!:D

will apprieciate anyones help as ever!

Right, thats it, ramp is coming out.. the problem at the moment.

Very Poor MPG - on opitmax only getting 250 on a full tank of 33litres.

hesitating badly - nearly had 2 smacks today when the car just stopped in the middle of the road.

Pete, I am going to take the lamba out and give a quick clean with compressed air cleaner and a general wipe with a clean cloth - will that work?

Maybe, but probably not. Actual sensor is inside the 'shield' you see on the end of the probe, if it's damaged or no good you can't really do anything with it.

Bugger me, hit twice by same problem. The map sensor pipe snapped away from the engine! [:0] So a little snip job and put back in. I can't believe this has happened again. Now purring again :p

For how long, who knows...
