Technical Dodgy Brakes

Just had my Multipla a week and have a problem already with the brakes. When braking gently their is very lettle resistance and the brake pedal feels it goes down to the floor with little effect on the speed I'm doing. This problem is intermittent and generally heppens when braking gently. if I lift my foot off then re-apply the brakes it sometimes will brake as it should, sometimes not. Any ideas?

When did it have pads changed last?

Well I thought the dealer had serviced it and would have seen if the pads were worn, but it doesn't feel right. Don't know if they have ever been changed to be honest, I'll have to phone him today. Again!

i would say you may have air in the system.
so when you 1st push it you dont get much braking.on 2nd push you have pumped the pressure up a bit thus get braking.

I second custard . Got an air lock in mine at the moment, I changed my disks and pads and had to loosen a bleed nipple to get the caliper back on . Confuses the hell out of the ABS and hill holder lol .

Thanks for the replies guys. The strange thing is it doesn't happen every time and only really happens under gentle braking.

Sounds like faulty master cylinder to me

Turns out the liner had fallen of the pads, so brakes serviced and replaced again and working great
