Hi,

Fiat 500 Lounge 1.2 just purchased it!.......not sure if i am having issues with the air con or i am using it wrong, only seems to work on blower number 2 or 3 and doesn't always illuminate, seems very intermittent when pulling it out to switch on!, if i leave alone its fine but if i adjust the speed of fan the light goes out, not sure if the air con switches off or the switch is faulty....thanks for any help on this!

Pulling it out?

You should press the switch in until it clicks or at least that what I remember doing?

Perhaps I'm wrong it was a few years ago

2014...will try a replacement switch first as the air con works ok unless i tamper with it so doubt low refridgerant, oh and yes push in for on!
I would advise anyone who doesn't know when it was last recharged to have the system refilled just because "it works" doesn't mean its in good working order.
Few years ago mine was working fine bar a bit of a whine-that's what alerted me( that was the compressor telling me something was really wrong/low ), on recharging, I asked, there was only 23% left in I'm surprised it hadn't packed up even the guy said why was I having it recharged until they did it , so please have it recharged ? Given how long I've had a car with AC I admit I'm a bit OCD in this regard but its served me well.
