Doblo Doblo van 2003, heavy knock from front suspension

Hi folks as title says I've recently bought this as a run around. Drives great, however we have a heavy knock from the front suspension. When I bought it seller said it had just had 2 front shock absorbers and springs and 1 strut mount.

Any ideas when I jacked the front up there was no sign of play.

Constant noise.. or rough surface..?

Plenty of options..

Mine does this when it's dry, at the beginning of the journey. If it stops in the rain or when you get good it's all good. Just cheap lubricant at the top of strut. If its not that, it could be pretty expensive.

Sounds like the seller had tried fixing the noise..but failed..

Does this model have drop links? Probably. If the noise is over bumps, that would be my first place to look. They can make a lot of noise while appearing to be good, so may need removing to check the joints properly.
