Have just got my new Doblo (Dynamic 1.9 120 grey - almost black).
What a great vehicle! Flies along.
Thing is, I want a dog guard to stop bikes etc. flying out of the overloaded huge boot and landing on the kids heads.
Does anyone know if the Fiat guard for the mark 1 will fit the facelifted Doblo? I notice from photos that the old version had painted metal pillars whereas the new one is clad in plastic and the guard appears to fix to the pillar somehow.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Firstly welcome to the forum :) nice to have another fello doblo'er!

I've had a look around the internet and I'm afraid I haven't seen any for the new Doblo... there doesn't seem to be much on there for the new ones. Only thing I could suggest is try and borrow one from another Doblo (ok I know all your friends won't have one :p) or contact your dealer and ask them for advice :)

Thanks for the welcome:)

Had a look on the net myself with the same result - requested the accessories brochure from FIAT without any luck (out of print).

Guess they just haven't got them together yet.

Cheers!

Nice to see you got a pic up now :) love the colour it's what I would have if I bought a new one! Hope you don't mind me asking but what sort of age group are you in? Being the youngest Doblo'er on here it's nice to see what other age ranges have them :)

Hope you have more luck with that guard and brochure soon :D

Yes, wouldn't change the colour - the car gets a much better reception that I expected.

For info. I'm 36. Bought the Doblo as I need to fit my moutain bike in the boot and 3 kids in childseats in the back. Its more useable than a 'proper' MPV in that respect because of the high, square back with the bonus that I spent 10K (main dealer beaten down on the promise of hard cash!) rather than 18K for a Sharan/Galaxy/Alhambra.
What decided it though was that I think the 120 engine is pretty much the same as the one you get if you buy a Saab TiD as FIAT sell them to General Motors. Bargain!

Glad you're really pleased with it :) and yes they are great cars! Most of the people I've seen with them around here in South Wales are either granny's (no offence :)) or works vans! Still reckon I'll be the youngest for a while though :p even though everyone at my college likes it!
