unsafe at any speed was ralf naders quote, but this was the 1st rear engined american car ever to be produced and i think it is still the only rear engined american car ever to be produced

they got the name from corvette and belair.

this is the later model which by then they had sorted these problems, ive had no problems doing 70mph round corners in it.

Nice car, im a bit late but I spotted the chevrolet badge in the grill. The auxilary/fan belt is an interesting setup. Does it have tons of space under the hood

I think Tucker made rear engined cars in the 1940s....

Sweet Corvair all the same....Some people look down on them, but I think that will only make them more collectable in the future like the Porsche 914, Edsel etc....
