General Do you have a "low absorption" colour?
I am getting a little worried. My replacement 500 in Jive Blue was due to be built 2 weeks ago, still awaiting production according to the computers at FIAT, both myself & customer care are becoming a little worried due to the deletion of Jive Blue.
Uh Oh... that sounds ominous. I thought they were fast tracking yours? There are other 500s already being delivered that were ordered after your one.
when did they start the process? we ordered an Orange one on 11th October and it is due to Bristol on Monday.
It was the end of October they discontinued the colours.

Simonstone's computer says the car is in transit & is due in the UK on or around next Monday!!!!!

sounds like it will be on the boat with mine then!! Mine is due in Bristol on Monday too!!

Fiat CC have called this morning to say the car has in fact NOT been manufactured. It would appear that Simonstone were spinning me a line.
The car is apparently being built this week, although it was also supposed to be built 2 weeks ago and for an "unknown reason" it wasn't built, so we will see.
Looks like I'll have one of the very last Jive Blue cars to leave the factory, if it does get built......

Its no wonder that Fiat dealerships have some of the worst reputations around!
Fiat probably found they didnt have any Jive Blue paint left, not to worry as they do have DIY stores in Poland and I expect they got one of those to mix up some emulsion for you

I shouldnt panic, Marks is an exclusive case and his dealers non too great.
The only thing that has stopped me totally loosing it is the thought that at the end of this saga I'll have a rand new 500, with the wheel I wanted when I originally ordered the car, and A/C & electrochromatic mirror thrown in
ours is all fine I am pleased to say (not that it will make you feel any better Mark!)
OH Mark I am so sorry that you have yet another problem with your new 500's arrival - feel so bad for you, you've waited to so long for a perfect car to arrive after all your problems. Hoping for good news soon that it's on it's way.
