Hi .I am a newbie.I have a fiat 500 pop and it has just lit up like a disco.I have a yellow exclamation mark the engine warning icon the car slippery on the road and beeping.Also display says hill holder and ESP unavailable...should I be really worried??? Please can someone help.Thanks in advance

Welcome, a few questions, what age is the car? How old is the battery? Does everything work on the rear hatch, lights wiper etc, are you awear of the "engine earth strap" being replaced ?
Hi it is 66 plate but 2017model battery not been replaced as far as I know.lights and wipers fine.not sure what the engine earth strap is but I can tell you it was fully serviced in september
My first suspicion would be the battery then given the age(Not that old 'car's), modern cars are very sensitive to the condition of the battery, let's see what other members post, note you battery will be a stop start version and will cost £90-120 If it turns out to be this, buy online as it will be far cheaper generally .

Does the car crank over quickly even when freezing or is it a bit slow?
Wait for more replies before getting a battery, EML light will put on generic triangle, hill holder and esp will often come on as a result of the EML, does the car drive normally ? even with the warning lights. It would be useful if the codes are read before going any further could be a simple sensor issue, do the lights all come on at start up and is there any message on the screen(will disappear shortly after)

The battery sounds okay if it's spinning the motor and starting okay.
Have you checked the wiring inside the rubber gaitor in the rear hatch? The car isn't that old, but you might have one/more frayed and shorting out.

I'm now leaning towards a sensor issue giving a EML? The other lights being secondary? Codes need reading.
